' Gentlemen:

This is to advise you that on March 26, 1987, at 1:00 p.m., there will be a meeting at the NRC Region III office in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, to discuss and resolve emergency preparedness issues regarding the Lacrosse Boiling Water Reactor, operated by Dairyland Power Cooperative.

Issues to be discussed include the inclusion of the State of Iowa and the City of New Albin in the Emergency Planning Zone for the plant, and the adequacy of the plant's alert notification system.

Personnel from NRC Headquarters, NRC Region III, FEMA Headquarters, FEMA Region V, FEMA Region VII, the State of Minnesota, the State of Wisconsin, the State of Iowa, and Dairyland Power Cooperative are expected to attend the meeting.
