Dear Sir:

In Reference (c), we described an ambient temperature drift problem with our Veritrak Pressurizer Pressure Transmitters. We committed in Reference (c) to inform you of Westinghouse's analysis and repair of the problem. At this time, Westinghouse has not completed their analysis of the problem. Since this analysis is not completed, we have resolved the issue by installing Tobar pressurizer pressure transmitters. We have performed ambient temperature compensation tests on the Tobar transmitter and determined their ambient temperature compensation shifts are withia our allowable Technical Specification limits.
