From February 22 through March 3,1999, an operator licensing inspection was conducted at
your River Bend Station reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the results of this
inspection.

The inspection included an evaluation of three applicants for a senior operator upgrade, three
applicants for a senior operator instant, and eight applicants for a reactor operator license. We

determined that all applicants satisfied the requirements of 10 CFR Part 55, and the appropriate
i
licenses have been issued.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
'
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
