From February 22 through March 3,1999, an operator licensing inspection was conducted at
your River Bend Station reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the results of this l
inspection. j

The inspection included an evaluation of three applicants for a senior operator upgrade, three
applicants for a senior operator instant, and eight applicants for a reactor operator license. We 1
determined that all applicants satisfied the requirements of 10 CFR Part 55, and the appropriate i
licenses have been issued. -

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its l

enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
