The Commission has issu'ed the enclosed Amendment No.125 to Facility Operating
-License No. NPF-1 for the Trojan Nuclear Plant. The amendment. consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application (LCA 146) dated October 31, 1986, as supplemented December 8, 1986, s The' amendment revises Technical Specifications Sections 3.1.3.4 and 3.1.3.5 regarding Shutdown Rod and Control Rod Insertion Limits, by changing the definition of " fully withdrawn rods" from 228 steps to greater than 225 steps.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
