Subject:

Completion of Corrective Action Regarding Control Circuit Cable Longths (CDR 84-00-13)

Gentlemen Reference (b) reported that portions of control circuits were not considered in certain cases when evaluating total circuit length for voltage i drop calculations. Reference (h) identified that less than the minimum specified voltage could exist under certain conditions for Westinghouse contactors on the hydrogen recombiner skids. Subsequently the control circuits for hydrogen recombiners CGC-MM-284A and CGC-MM-284B have been modified to ensure that greater than the minimum specified voltage will be present during the concurrent conditions of low grid voltage and a fully loaded electrical bus.
