IE Bulletin 86-02 Static "0" Ring Differential Pressure Switches Omaha Public Power District (0 PPD) received the subject bulletin dated July 18, 1986.
This bulletin required specific actions of licensees.
The actions re-quired of all holders of operating licenses are detailed in the enclosure to this letter, followed by the written report required in paragraph 1.
Our re-sponse to paragraph 1 indicates that the actions described in paragraphs 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the subject bulletin are not required. As requested, the written report is being submitted under oath or affirmation to the Regional Administra-tor of Region IV, and a copy is attached to this letter.

Response to IE Bulletin 86-02 Static "0" Ring Differential Pressure Switches Actions Reauired of All Licensees:
Within 7 days, submit a report on the extent to which SOR Model 102 or 103 dif-ferential pressure switches are installed (cr planned) at electrical equipment important to safety, as defined in 10 CFR 50.49(b). Include in the report:
the model number of the switch, the system in which it is installed (e.g., low pres-sure safety injection), the application of the switch (e.g., water level mea-surement, system flow measurement), and the function of the switch (e.g., con-trol of minimum flow recirculation valve). A negative report, if appropriate, is required.
OPPD Response An investigation has been conducted and it has been determined that there are no SOR Model 102 or 103 differential pressure switches installed or planned for installation as electrical equipment important to safety, as defined in 10 CFR 50.49(b) at the Fort Calhoun Station.
Actions Reauired of Licensees That Have S0R Model 102 or 103 Differential Pres-sure Switches Installed in Systems That Are Sub.iect to Limitina Conditions for Operation in Technical Specifications:
Paragraphs 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the subject bulletin detail actions for licen-sees that have SOR Model 102 or 103 differential pressure switches installed in systems that are subject to limiting conditions for operations in Technical Specifications.
OPPD Response No further action is required by 0 PPD since the Fort Calhoun Station does not have any SOR Model 102 or 103 differential pressure switches installed in sys-tems that are subject to limiting conditions for operations in Technical Spec-ifications.
