Dear Mr. Davis:
The Reference letter transmitted Revision 1 to the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No.1, Special Nuclear Material License Application.
In this revision, the application was odified to allow for the flexibility of wet or dry storage of new fuel in the spent fuel pool. Correspondingly, KG&E does not plan to apply for an exemption from the requirements of 10CFR70.24. However, to ensure that the license issuance is not delayed, KG&E requests that the license be conditioned to state that KG&E comply with all ap-plicable requirements of 10CFR70.24 by the date that special nuclear material will be received on site.
