Y0H Security, Inc., Pleads Guilty to Federal Charges; Agrees to $100,000 Fine On September 25, 1986, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced that a Federal Grand Jury had returned an indictment charging Y0H Security, Inc., with conspiracy, false statements and cover-up by former employees in connection with training records for the security force at the Limerick Generating Station. The indictment related to activities which were identified and corrected prior to the NRC's issuance of an operating license for the Limerick Generating Station (Ref. PNS-I-86-15). On March 20, 1987, YOH S:curity, Inc. entered into a plea agreement with the U.S. Attorney's office, to settle the government's suit against the company as a result of that indictment, and has agreed to pay a
$100,000 fine. Two fomer YOH employees and a training contractor of YOH are being tried separately.
On March 20, 1987 Day and Zimmemann. Inc., (D&Z) parent company of YOH Security, Inc.,
which also supplies security services to long Island Lighting Company at its Shoreham Nuclear Power Station and to Public Service Electric and Gas Company at its Salem and Hope Creek Generating Stations, in addition to Limerick, announced the formation of Protection Technology, Inc., (PTI), a new, wholly owned subsidiary to direct and manage its security s:rvices business.
PT! will be responsible for performing the services previously provided by other DAZ subsidiaries, including Y0H Security Inc.
