This refers to the special, unannounced inspection conducted by Mr. L. T.
Ricketson of this office on July 20-22, 1987, conctrning the transfer of radioactive sources once belonging to an NRC li:ensee.
During this inspection, it was found that you had taken possession of radioactive esterial without having an NRC Byproduct Material License. This possession put you in violation of NRC requirements. The material was subsequently transferred to an authorized recipient. No response to this letter and enclosed Notice of Violation is necessary.
