Enclosed for your review and comment are six (6) copies of the Basic Plan (Draft 3) portion *zf the East Pikeland Township Radiological Emergency Response Plan for Incidents at the Limerick Generating Station.
As we discussed, a copy of this draft is also being forwarded to the Chester County Department of Emergency Services in order to initiate an informal review process with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA). This review is for the purpose of determining draft plan compliance with applicable state and federal regulations governing radiological emergency preparedness.
It is important to note this review is initiated with the expressed understanding that the plan is in draft form, subject to further development, and in no way implies that the document under review represents official policy of your municipality.
It should also be noted that, during the course of the review process, we will continue to work with you on the remaining "to be developed" items such as the survey for identifying the disabled, hearing impaired, etc.; route alerting; resource requirements; traps; and agreements. Work will also continue on the 1
Implementing Procedures portion of your plan.
