REVISED SER FOR ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE, UNITS 1 AND 2 GENERIC LETTER 83-P8 ITEMS 4.2.1 AND 4.2.2 - PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM FOR REACTOR TRIP BREAKERS / MAINTENANCE AND TRENDING (MPA B-81) (TAC NOS. 53112 AND 53113)
On November 22, 1985 the Equipment Oualification Branch transmitted to the Division of Licensing a Safety Evaluation Report (SER) on the above subject. That SER indicated that the licensee must confirm that the Undervoltage Trip Device roller rivet-armature clearance is measured with the armature in the energized position.
By letter to J. F. Stolz of NRC from J. Ted Enos of Arkansas Power and Light Company, dated February 13, 1986, the licensee for Arkansas Nuclear One Units 1 and 2 provided the requested confirmation.
The staff finds that the licensee's response is acceptable and closes the confirmatory issue identified in the November 22, 1985 SER. This SER completes the staff review under TAC NOS. 53112 and 53113. The SALP input for this review was provided with the November 22, 1985 SER.
