At the request of the NRC Staff, Duke Power conducted a review of environmentally qualified mechanical equipment for the purpose of identifying any differences between Catawba Units 1 and 2.

Although applications and quantities may vary there is no mechanical equipment unique to Unit 2.

Environmental qualification documentation on file for this equipment is applicable to both Units 1 and 2.
