Fursuant to your request, we have reviewed the revision of the subject Federal Register motice of proposed rulemaking to amend 10 CFR Part 2 which reflected commants received from NRC staff offices, including RIV,
) in response to William Olmstead's memorandum of October 22, 1984. A i draft transmission paper transmitting the Federal Register notice of
) proposed rulamaking to the Commission was also attached.
We consider this revision a marked improvement over the original draft
, version and we have no further comments other than to point out a possible ambiguity over the reference on page 2 of the draf t tran-ission paper and elsewhere to an "in_ camera without other parties present" presentation and an "ex parte in camera oral presentation." While we discussed the a matter with Jane Mopes and she adequately explained that "without other parties present" meant a " paper presentation" as opposed to the other ,
j referenced " oral presentation," we believe that without some clarification l
- in the documents themselves, two references may cause confusion to some. ,
