-..o APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation Docket No.
50-271 Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station License No. DPR-28 Vernon, Vermont During an NRC inspection conducted on July 1 - August 4,1986, a violation of NRC requirements was identified.
In accordance with the " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions",10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C (Enforcement Policy 1986), the violation is listed below:
Technical Specification 4.4.c requires that the boron concentration of the liquid poison tank in the Standby Liquid Control System be determined follow-ing any addition of water or boron to the tang, Contrary to the above, following the addition of water to the liquid poison tank on July 8, and on July 15, 1986, tration was performed until an NRC review of the g;tivities ino analysis of the t deficiencies.
This is a Severity Level V Violation (Supplement I.E.)
