(a) Letter with attached SER from F. R. Standerfer, 4410-85-L-0147, to B. J. Snyder dated August 30, 1985 (b) Letter with attached SER from F. R. Standerfer, 4410-85-L-0248, to W. D. Travers, dated Decenber 31, 1985 Reference (a) presented the base SER for Core Stratification Sample Acquisition. Reference (b), which is being reviewed separately by the flRC, presented an additional scope of activities.
In order to complete our review and evaluation of the added scope we will require additional information.
Please respond to the following items so that we may complete our safety review.
1.
Describe your program to measure and control the lengths and reference position of the drill string. such that adequate clearance to the reactor vessel wall is maintained.
2.
Describe how you will insure full thread engagement of the drill string.
