Dear Mr. Denton:
In my August 4, 1986 letter we requested a change to the Catawba Technical Specificaticos Tables 3.6-1 and 3.6-2a.
The changes were necessary to include the addition of a containment penetration (M375) and containment isolation valve (NM-438) which were planned to be added to the plant during the current Unit I refueling outage.
Please be advised that, due to scheduler constraints, this penetration and valve will not be added during this refueling outage. Therefore, the requested changes will not be needed to be incorporated into the Technical Specification Tables at this time.
