Dear Sir:
In our letter, Reference (b), we committed to forward a schedule to the NRC Seabrook Project Manager for the implementation of the ATWS Mitigating System Actuation Circuitry ( AMSAC) af ter the issuance of the NRC's Safety Evaluation Report (SER) on the Westinghouse Owners Group (WOG) generic design of AMSAC.
The NRC's SER was forwarded to the WOG members [ Reference (c)], and Seabrook is submitting herewith its imple-mentation schedule for concurrence.
In accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.62, we will install AMSAC and have it functional prior to startup from our first refueling outage, no later than July of 1989. The additional information required by 10CFR50.62 will be submitted six months prior to the refueling outage.
