NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50 424/9/-12 AND
50-425/97-12
Dear Mr. McCoy:
On January 24. 1998. the NRC completed an inspection at your Vogtle Units 1
and 2 reactor facilities.
The enclosed report presents the results of that
inspection.
During the 6-week period, your conduct of activities at the Vogtle facility
was generally characterized by safety-comcious operations, sound engineering
and maintenance practices, and appropriate radiological work controls.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "IcJ1es of Practice." a copy of
this letter, its enclosures, and any reply will be placed in the NRC Public
Document Room (PDR).
