DOCKET NOS. 50 445 AND 50 446 TU ELECTRIC ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES TV Electric has recently implemented changes to the TU Electric corporate and the CPSES site organizational structures which hava resulted in organizationa'. position title changes for three senior level nianagement positions involved with CPSES operations. These position title changes reflect recent organizational changes -

and/or individual promotions made within TU Electric after a merger and restructuring of company business activities. Currently, the same key individuals remain in these senior management positions and no responsibilities or functions have changed with respect to CPSES operations. These changes have been discussed with the project manager for CPSES within the Office of Nucler.r Reactor Regulation.

The senior level organizational changes are as follows:

TV Electric remains in compliance with the CPSES Technical' Specifications. Specific-

' l functions within the Technical Specifications are reassigned as follows:

The " Group Vice President Nuclear Production" functions are reassigned to o

the " Senior Vice President & Principal Nuclear Officer" The CPSES " Plant Manager" functions are reassigned to the "Vice President of o

Nuclear Operations"; the position of CPSES Plant Manager is currently not assigned in the CPSES organization TV Electric has described the above senice level and other CPSES organizational changes in the recent Amendment 95 to the LPSES Final Safety Analysis Report which was transmitted to the NRC on February 2,1998, by TV Electric letters TXX 98014 and TXX 98015.

In addition, TV Electric plans to resolve any organizational title discrepancies that may be present against the currer' CPSES Administrative Technical Specifications through the CPSES co..<crsion project to tb? Improved Technical Specifications.

This communication contains no new licensing basis commitments regarding CPSES-Units 1 and 2.
