ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE, UNITS 1 AND 2 - WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NOS. DRP-51 AND NPF-6 (TAC NOS. M95330 AND M95331).

Dear Mr. Hutchinson:

By "0CAN059603, Application for Amends to Licenses DPR-51 & NPF-6,revising ANO-1 TS 3.7.2 & ANO-2 [[TS" contains a listed "[" character as part of the property label and has therefore been classified as invalid. & 3.8.1.1 to Extend Allowed Outage Time for EDGs from 7 Days to Include Once Per Cycle Extension of Addl 7 Days Per Machine|letter dated May 2,1996]] (OCAN059603), as supplemented by letter dated November 7,1996 (OCAN119606), you applied for an amendment to Operating License Nos. DRP-51 and NPF-6.

The proposed change would have extended the allowed outage time (AOT) for the emergency diesel generators at Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2 to 7 days with an additional, once per refuelir; cycle, extension of 7 more days for each machine. Subsequently, by letter dated December 11,1998 (OCAN129808), you withdrew the request. Therefore, the proposed change is considered to be withdrawn. If this information is not correct, please notify the IJC of your intended actions within 10 days of receipt of this letter.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Ame:idment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
