Letter 812150 dated June 26, 1986 0. O. Nordquist to T. E. Murley transmitting Revision 9 of Changes to the Northeast Utilities Quality Assurance Topical Report.
We have received the referenced letter transmitting Revision 9 of the Northeast Utilities Quality Assurance Topical Report.
Region I staff has reviewed this submittal and found the changes acceptable as they do not reduce your previ-ously approved commitments to quality assurance.
Revision 9 contains approxi-mately 124 changes. Of these, 76 were editorial, 34 were organizational caused primarily by the startup of Unit 3, 12 were other changes reflecting the startup of Unit 3, I was in response to NRC Information Notice 86-21, and Appendix G, Quality Activity Matrix, was added.
The effectiveness of your QA Program implementation will continue to be the subject of routine regional inspections.
