Box 144850 Salt t.ake City, UT 84114-4850 Dear Mr. Sinclair; We have reviewed the final Utah regulations in R31312,-14,17, 21, and 22 which became effective on January 10,1997. The regulations were reviewed by comparison to the equivalent NRC regulations in 10 CFR Parts 20,30,31,32, and 40. We also discussed our review cf the regulations with Mr. Craig Jones on January 28,1998.
As a result of the NRC review, we have determined that the Utah regulations reviewed, as adopted, meet the compatibility and health and safety categories established in OSP Internal Procedure D.7.
