STATUS OF REVIEW 0F SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT (STP) INFORMATION ON GENERIC l.ETTER 85-12 The purpose of this letter is to document the NRC staff's understanding of the position of STP on the above subject through a report based on a preliminary review. The enclosed report is in the format of questions and answers which came up during a conference telephone call on March 19, 1986.
The staff responses to some of the answers given in the telephone call indicate that additional information is forthcoming from STP.
Please inform us if you.have any coments on our understanding of your position, and let us know your schedule for providing the required information.
