MAINTENANCE SURVEY This is to confirm that we plan to conduct a followup maintenance program survey at Davis-Besse from March 24 through March 27, 1986. The survey will be similar to the one conducted during mid-September 1985, so that the

progress Toledo Edison has made in implementing programs which affect the quality of maintenance can be assessed. The team will consist of six NRC staff members. Five of the team participated in the September survey.

During the survey, the team members will want to interview various Toledo Edison Company personnel. These individuals are identified in the Enclosure.

To minimize the disruption to your other activities at the facility, we have rot attempted to schedule these interviews. Instead, you are requested to make the named individuals available for individual interviews lasting for approximately one hour. For the interviews, the team will split into two three man groups. Please be prepared to provide the team with the interviewees' schedule of availability to assist with planning.
