Iloh Tjader(TSil) llob Tjader discussed the purpose of the meetings: this will be the nrst of several conference calls to be held Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays to resolve open questions on sections 3.3, 3.6, and 3.8 of the DAEC ITS submittal. The calls are being held to clarify and answer RAI questions on the submittal. The Ibrmat will be to clarify the questions and if a resolution can be reached in a timely manner it will be resolved during the call, if the resolution is not forthcoming during the call, the question and need for additional information will be agreed upon and then a follow up will be presented at the next conference call.

Discussion then ensued on the section 3.8 ItAls with the resolutions as follows (its is noted that written iesponses have already been submitted by the DAEC for the following NRC questions md that the discussion held was to obtain additional clarincation and resolutions):

CTS 3.8.1.1 No further actions needed, question will be closed upon receipt of an acceptable ITS revision.

CTS 3.8.1.2 NRC was concerned about how the Completion Time for LCO 3.8.1 Required Action A.2 was translated from the CTS into the ITS lbmiat. Specincally, the translation of the CTS Cold Condition to the ITS Modes 3 and 4. NRC questioned why the NOTE located in LCO 3.8.1 just prior to Required Action A.2 was not located in the LCO section. NRC will discuss this prior to the next meeting.

DAEC will Gnd other examples of where this is used in the ITS. These are follow-up items for the Friday conference call.

CTS 3.8.1.3 DAEC explained that the equipment which would be declared inoperable would be dependent upon the failure mcde of the Time Delay relay, NRC will review this and discuss on Friday. Follow-up item for Friday.

2 CTS 3.8.1.4 NRC requested that DAEC cither explain why it is acceptable to remove the requirement that all Low Pressure ECCS Systems be operable with two offsite sources inoperable or show where this CTS requirement has been put into ITS.

CTS 3.8.1.10 NRC discussed the requirement by NRC Offlee of General Counsel to change DOC A4 to an L Doc. DAEC agreed to change the A3 doc to an 1 doc.

CTS 3.8.1.11 NRC discussed the STS requirement to keep diesel testinc between 90% and 100% of continuous duty rating. DAEC will review. Follow up item for Friday.

CTS 3.8.1.12 No further actions needed, question will be closed upon receipt ofITS revision.

CTS 3.8.1.14 No further actions needed, question closed.

CTS 3.8.2.1 NRC questior.ed where the CTS Core Spray, RilR, and Diesel operability requirements during OPDRVs are now located in ITS. DAEC will review and discuss on Friday. Follow up item for Friday.

CTS 3.8.3.1 No further actions needed, question closed.

CTS 3.8.4.1 NRC discussed the removal of 24 VDC from ITS. This item will be discussed at ,

the December 17 meeting in Washington D.C.
