PROPOSED IMPOSITION OF CIVIL PENALTIES - $100,000 This is to inform the Commission that a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars will be issued on or about April 16, 1985 to Florida Power Corporation. This action is based on security violations including degradation in a vital area barrier and failure to take effective compensatory measures. The penalty has been escalated for prior poor performance in the area of concern.

It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the enforcement action. The Regional Administrator has been authorized by the  ;

Director, Office of Inspection and Enforcement, to sign this action. The '
