MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - PREDECISIONAL ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE -
BRUNSWICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT - DOCKET NOS. 50-324 AND 325
Dear Mr. Hinnant:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Warren Dorman of your staff and myself on December 2.1997, concerning a predecisional enforcement conference which is scheduled for December 19, 1997. from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
The purpose of the meeting 13 to discuss the apparent violation rqarding timeliness of corrective action when Unit 1 drywell teroperature exceeded existing analysis and a design deficiency where the pressure suppression function of primary containment could be potentially bypassed. which is discussed in Inspection Report 50-324. 50-325/97-12.
The meeting will be held at the NRC Region 11 Office. 61 Forsyth Street. S.W..
Atlanta, Georgia, in the Main Conference Room. Suite 24T20.
This predecisional enforcement conference is OPEN to the public, in accordance with the " General Statement of Policy end Procedures for NRC Enforcement Actions."
