Transmittal of NRC First Draft of Vogtle Technical Specifications The staff and its consultants have reviewed your initial Technical Specification submittal for Vogtle Unit I dated February 28, 1986.
This review included a de-tailed assessment of plant-specific differences from the Westinghouse Standard Technical Specifications. We have enclosed the Standard Technical Specifications marked to include Vogtle-specific items which the staff has reviewed and found acceptable based on your justifications and the Vogtle FSAR and SER. This marked up copy is being provided for the ease of your review.
The staff will provide a typed version of this first draft and forward a copy to you when available.
Your staff should review this document and prepare further justifications for those items not accepted by the NRC in anticipation of future discussions with the NRC staff. We will contact your staff regarding necessary meetings.
