GENERIC LETTER 83-28, ITEM 4.5.1 - REACTOR TRIP SYSTEM RELIABILITY (SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL TESTING - TEST DESCRIPTION)
The statf has completed its review of Reactor Trip System Reliability (System Functional Testing - Test Description) for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1.
Our review was based on your November 4, 1983 response to our July 8, 1983 Generic Letter entitled " Required Actions Based on Generic Implications of Salem ATWS Events."
Based upon our review of the above referenced submittal, we conclude that your response to GL 83-28, Item 4.5.1, is acceptable and we consider our review for this item complete.
Our safety evaluation is enclosed.
