The NRC has received an allegation in which it was stated that an employee of tne U.S. Testing Company had been fired at the Clinton Power Station after testing positive for illicit drug use.
It is also alleged that other U.S.
Testing personnel employed at Clinton Power Station had openly bragged about switching urine samples during their drug screening.
This information is forwarded to Illinois Power Company for review and followup.
If you determine that illicit drug use occurred we are interested in the effect the drug use may have had on the individual's ability to perform safety related work and how that work was verified correct. We are also particularly interested in your control of urine sampling related to drug screening.
We request that the results of your review and disposition of this matter be submitted to Region III after completion.
Documentation supporting your results should be maintained onsite for audit by Region III.
