CONSTRUCTION APPPAISAL TEAM (CAT) INSPECTION (50-455/85027)
FINDINGS FOR BYRON 2
Attached is a memorandum from the Byron Senior Resident Inspector giving the
results of his review of the status of CAT findings. Several of the issues
raised are still outstanding which will require inspection effort by regional
based inspectors from the Division of Reactor Safety (DRS). By this memo, it
is requested that the appropriate sections of DRS assume responsibility for
closing the CAT issues numbered ic, 2a, 2b, 2d and 3b. Resolution of these
items should be accomplished to support a fuel load as early as November 1986.
