McGuire Nuclear Station - Unit 1 Docket Nos. 50-369 Gentlemen:
On June 5,1986, Unit 1 experienced a Train A Blackout Actuation due to the start of a Reactor Coolant Pump.
Unit I was in Mode 6, refueling, at the time of this incident. This event is reportable pursuant to CFR 50.73 Section (a)(2)(iv). The Licensee Event Report for this incident will be submitted by July 18, 1986, pending completion of the event investigation by Duke Power Company.
