STRIKE BY CONTRACT SECURITY FORCE - UPDATE .
The strike by the contract security force at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station'was ended at approximate'ly 3:00 p.m., July 1, 1986. A second vote by members of the UnJted Plant .
Guard Workers Union Local 540, which rep' resents the contract security force (Globe -
Security System), resulted .in a tie and the' union's Executive Committee recommended that tha members accept the last contract offer that was reject:ed on June 30, 1986, and

return to work. Members of the force began to report for work at about 3:'00 p.m., July
- 1. Other license employees who, honored the picket line are expected to return for work ,
on their next regular shift.' As members report for work, the contingency force will be.
