Dear Mr. Craig:
This is in response to your letter dated May 2,1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), copies of documents pertaining to the NRC Office of Investigations' (0I) report (Case No. 1-84-014) regarding harassment of Nine Mile Point Unit 2 quality assurance auditors.
During a June 10, 1986, telephone conversation with Mr. Stephen Isaacs of my staff, you reduced the scope of your request to the final 0I report, any supporting materials or recommendations, and transcripts of interviews.
Copies of the requested report and the accompanying exhibits have been made available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) in Washington, DC 20555.
These records are filed in the PDR docket file for the Nine Mile Point plant. We understand that you have obtained a copy of this report. We are enclosing a copy of the notice that provides procedures for obtaining copies of records at the PDR. Copies of the report and accompanying exhibits will also be available at the NRC Local Public Document Room for the Nine Mile Point plant, which is located at the following m

We note in this regard that there is a pending lawsuit, Ryan v. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, D.D.C. 86-1553, regarding the release of the 01 report and exhibits.
