Dear Mr. Gordon:
This is in response to your letter dated April 21, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA),
a comprehensive list of notices of violations (N0V's) for events occurring since January 1984 and five other categories of "nformation and records related to NOV's I have been informed that during your telephone conversation with Ms. Jane Axelrad of the Office of Inspection and Enforcement (I&E), she explained to you that ccmprehensive lists of NOV's and related utilities are not maintained by I&E, but that copies of NOV's, and their forwarding letters, are available at the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR) in the appropriate docket files. In addition, inspection reports for each plant which are also available in the PDR docket files, will provide you with information requested in your letter. The report, NUREG-0940, which is published quarterly, contains information related to your request and is
- also available for inspection and copying at the PDR under accession number 8210210024.
In light of this response to your F0IA request, we are taking no further action on your letter dated June 9, 1986, appealing our lack of response to your request.
