CHANGES TO THE ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE EMERGENCY PLAN, REVISION 23 Deer Mr. Hutchinson:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated July 29,1997, which transmitted Revision 23 to the Arkansas Nuc; ear One Emergency Plan submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, and 10 CFR 50.4.
Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and t.ie requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50, NRC approvalis not required. Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
