Mill. STONE NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT N0. 3 OPERATING STAFF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
REFERENCE:
LETTER FROM J. F. OPEKA TO V. S. N0ONAN, DATED JUNE 19, 1986 In a letter dated June 19, 1986 you advised us that in view of the not operating experience level now attained by regularly assigned shift personnel, you intend to remove the shift advisors from further service as of July 16, 1986.
By that date, shift personnel will have acquired a full six months of hot plant operations experience, including more than six weeks at power levels above 20% and startup and shutdown experience.
We have reviewed the data furnished by you and conclude that shift personnel will meet the hot operations experience requirements by July 16, 1986 and I.icense Condition 2.C(9) of the Millstone 3 Operating license NPF-49 will be complete. Therefore we do not object to your removing the shift advisors from further service on or after that date.
