Dear Mr. Barron:
Thank you for your respon'ie of October 23. 1997, to our Notice of Violation
issued on September 11, 1997, concerning activities conducted at your McGuire
factlity.
During a telephone conversation conducted between Mr. R. Cross of your
organization and G. Belisle and W. Stansberry on November 12. 1997, the
response to Violation 50-369. 370/97-13 02 was clarified.
Based on the
conversation it is our understanding that the additional security officer that
was posted at each Personnel Access Portal exit turnstile to verify that
security badges are not removed from the protected area by employees, will be
in place until the new access control system (palm geometry) is implemented in
1998.
We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the requirements of
