PORTSMOUTH GASEOUS DIFFUSION PLANT - RECEIPT OF CERTIFICATE AMENDMENT REQUEST REGARDING COMPLIANCE PLAN ISSUE A.2 (TAC NO. L32106)
Dear Mr. Adkins:
We have received your application dated December 23,1998, to amend issue A.2 of the Plan for Achieving Compliance with NRC Regulations at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (Compliance Plan). Your request has been assigned TAC No. L32106. Please reference this number in any future correspondence associated with this request.
We have completed the initial administrative review of your application for amendment of your certificate by revising Issue A.2 of the Compliance Plan. No omissions or deficiencies were identified, therefore, we have found it acceptable for formal review. Please note that the technical review may identify omissions in the submittal information or technical issues that require additional information.
Based on our administrative reviews and projection of current review schedules, we would anticipate completing our review by February 24,1999. This date could change depending on the findings or our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule.
A copy of your correspondence has been forwarded to our License Fee and Accounts Receivable Branch, Office of the Controller, who will contact you separately for billing if your request is subject to full cost recovery.
