McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369, 370 NRC Inspection Report 50-369 and 50-370 96-11 By letter dated February 10, 1997, the NRC issued Inspection Report 50-369/96-11 and 50-370/96-11.
A portion of the inspection report documented that McGuire had met the intent of Generic L(itter 89-10, " Safety-Related Motor-Operated Valve Testing and Surveillance."
However, the inspection report identified weaknesses in data and assumptions that were uesd in verifying the design basis capabilities of MOVs.
The purpose of this letter is to notify the Commission of the completion of corrective actions associated with these
.;aaknesses with the exception of Group H valves, McGuire plans to replace these valves during the Unit 1 and Unit 2 Cycle 12 outages.
