VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT EMERGENCY PLAN REVISION 26 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5), Southern Nuclear Operating Company hereby submits Revision 26 to the Vogtic Electric Generating Plant (VEGP)
U Units 1 and 2 Emergency Plan (the Plan).
Revision 26 incorporates a change to the Minimum Stafling for Power Operation, Table B 1. Justification of the change is within Enclosure 1. Enclosure 2 provides the insertion instructions. Enclosure 3 identifies the revised pages.

Justification: FSAR section 9.5.1.5.3 states in part, Thesefire team manning requirements will be met without impacting the minimum on shift operations staffrequirements as describedin the VEGP Technical Specifications (i.e, sufficient staffing will exist to man afive-manfire brigade and a three-man remote shutdown team per unit whenever the affected unit is in operation mode 1, 2, 3, or 4).
The three-man remote shutdown team includes 1 plant equipment operator (PEO) per unit, lea"ing one PEO to man the fire brigade if necessary.
Incorporation of this change will bring the Emergency Plan into conformance with other sections of the FSAR. This change does not reduce the effectiveness r

of the emergency plan nor the ability of the fire brigade and the on snift minimum stafling to perform their assigned duties.
