Dear Mr. Gambhir:

' From November 30 through December 4,1998, a routine, announced inspection was
conducted at your Fort Calhoun Station reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the scope

and results of that inspection.

Overall, your emergency preparedness program was being properly implemented. Two
!
concerns were identified during the simulator walkthroughs related to protective action
l
recommendations as discussed in Section P4 of the enclosed inspection report.' These items
'
were incorporated into your corrective action program. The corrective actions identified were
-
determined to be adequate.
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
