Transmitted herewith, in accordance with 10CFR50.54(p), are the changed pages for issue l
4, Revision 8 of '.he Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Physical Security Plan.
Specific changes to the Plan involve deletion of the position title," President Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation". As part of corporate restructuring, this individual's title is being changed to " Chief Executive Officer Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation". However, because the Chief Nuclear Officer has overall corporate responsibility for administration and operation of the Nuclear Division, as stated in the Plan, we have opted to delete organizational titles above that level. Specific sections of the Plan affected by this change are identified in the enclosed Summary of Changes.
We have reviewed the changes embodied in this revision and determined that they do not reduce the effectiveness of the Plan or the overall Nuclear Security Program for Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station.
