Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.4 (b), Commonwealth Edison (Comed) Company is submitting

Technical Specifications.
This revised page provides an early implementation of the Containment Floor Drain Sump Water Level ~(Narrow Range) Instrumentation

requirements of the Byron Station, Units 1 and 2, ITS 3.3.3, " Post Accident Monitoring-(PAM) Instrumentation.
These changes were implemented on December jl 28, 1998.
The referenced Amendment relocates the requirements for these instruments from Technical Specifications to an owner-controlled document I
(i.e., Technical Requirements Manual).
The particular requirements of the Technical Requirements Manual for these

instruments have been reviewed, approved, and incorporated into appropriate
