in the Introduction section of the PGDP and PORTS Compliance Plans, the United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC) committed to provide the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) with quarterly reports on the implementation status of the Compliance Plans. The quarterly Compliance Plan Report for the period September I,1997 through November 30,1997 is enclosed. As required by the Compliance Plan, enclosed is the following information: 1) an executive summary; 2) tables listing completed / closed Compliance Plan issues and Compliance Plan issues that are scheduled to be completed during the next quarter; and 3) a detailed listing, sorted by noncompliance, of the individual commitments within each Compliance Plan issue.

In accordance with 10 CFR 76.33(c), and consis'ent with the NRC's December 18,1995 letter, the information related to Compliance Plan issues A.1 through A.5 for PORTS, and A.1 g

through A.7 for PGDP is considered to be proprietary commercial and financial information j/

pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d)(1) and 9.17(a)(4) and is exempt from public disclosure. These Compliance Plan issues have been clearly identified as proprietary information.
