Page 2 pathway Emergency Planning Zone. On May 27, 1986, the Board of Commissioners of Chatham County adopted the attached resolution which rescinds its prior approval of the emergency response plan pending further review of unresolved issues concerning the plan.

Carolina Power & Light Company is consulting with involved response agencies on maintaining the capability to implement this off-site plan, which has been approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the NRC Staff, and the Atomic Safety and Li-censing Board. When that consultation is completed, Applicants will provide information about any plans to revise the emergency response plan.
