Plant Staff Senior Reactor Operator License Expirations San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station, Units 1,2,3, Dated April 14, 1988 In the reference letter, Southern California Edison (SCE) committed all Shift Ter.hnical Advisors (STAS) at San Onofre Units 1, 2, and 3 would hold a valid plant specif!c Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license prior to performing STA duties.

To facilitate the conversion of the STA staff from engineering to operations personnel, SCE will allow degreed STAS with SR0 certifications to j

perform STA duties. This will allow degreed STAS to acquire more on shift o

experience prior to obtaining their SR0 License.
