(reference), SCE notified the NRC that we would complete our assessment of severe accident management capabilities and make any identified enhancements by December 31, 1998.

SCE has completed this connitment with implementation of the following actions:

Procedure /guidancedevelopmentandtrainingforemergency response personnel have been completed.

A self-assessment has been performed and required changes j

and enhancements have been implemented.

Each of these actions addresses the recommendations of NEI 91-04, 0

Revision 01. As noted above, SCE has established procedures, guidelines, and programmatic' controls to ensure that an effective severe accident management capability has been developed and will be maintained.
