Subject:
Fermi 2 Response to IE nulletin No. 86-01 We have carefully reviewed IE Bulletin No. 86-01 and determined that the problem described therein does not exist at Fermi 2.
The problem is described as a design that closes both RHR minimum flow valves on a high flow signal from either flou loop, creating a single failure capable of disabling all four RHR pumps.
At Fermi 2 each minimum flow valve is closed by a high flow signal j
from its own flow loop.
