By my letter of October 2, 1985, Duke Power Company (Duke) submitted a report on the results of the Catawba 2A diesel engine component revalidation inspections. Enclosed is Revision 1 to this report. This revision clarifies the extent of previous testing and describes additional testing that was completed for the 2A engine at Catawba.
